Higgsfield DoP (Lite / Standard / Turbo)
DoP ('Director of Photography') is Higgsfield's own image-to-video model family, exposed on the API as higgsfield-ai/dop/standard and in the product as Lite, Standard and Turbo tiers.
- Resolution
- 720p (only 720p tiers are listed on Higgsfield's pricing page)

It animates a still image from a text motion prompt and is the model behind Higgsfield's large library of camera-move and VFX presets. It is billed in 3-second units at 720p, and appears to be the older of Higgsfield's two first-party video lines: DoP no longer appears in the current Higgsfield CLI model list, where Cinematic Studio has taken its place.
Commercial-use terms not reviewed.

- Released or updated
- still listed on Higgsfield's pricing page and API guide as of 2026-08-14; original release date not published first-party
Maximum duration and supported aspect ratios are not established here. That means no page we could retrieve stated them, not that the model lacks them.
Strengths
- 250+ camera-control, framing and VFX presets built around this model
- Cheapest first-party option on the Higgsfield platform (Lite at 3 credits per 3s)
- Available on Higgsfield's own async API with webhooks and SDKs
Weaknesses
- Only 720p tiers are published; no 1080p or 4K row on the pricing page
- Maximum clip duration is not documented anywhere first-party
- Image-to-video only; no text-to-video, reference video or native audio
- Appears to be superseded internally: absent from the current CLI model catalogue
Best for
- Preset-driven camera moves on a single still image, cheaply.
Where the sources disagree
Recorded rather than resolved. Picking the tidier number would hide the fact that the vendor's own pages do not agree.
- {'claim': 'Whether DoP is still a current model', 'a': "Higgsfield's pricing page still lists DoP Lite/Standard/Turbo 720p tiers, and the API guide still documents higgsfield-ai/dop/standard as a recommended image-to-video endpoint", 'aUrl': 'https://higgsfield.ai/pricing', 'b': "Higgsfield's own CLI model catalogue (generated from 'higgsfield model list') contains no DoP entry; its first-party video models are listed as Cinematic Studio 3.0, Cinematic Studio Video, Video 3.5 and V2", 'bUrl': 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/higgsfield-ai/cli/main/MODELS.md'}
