Haiper was a London-based video generation startup founded in 2021 by Google DeepMind alumni Yishu Miao and Ziyu Wang, which emerged from stealth with a $13.8m round. It no longer operates as an independent product: Sifted reported on 23 June 2025 that after Microsoft AI hired both cofounders, Haiper was sold for parts, with NetMind.AI acquiring its video-generation model. As of 14 August 2026 haiper.ai serves only a static logo splash page with no product, pricing, docs or API.
